Cookies
This page describes what we store on your device when you read bilkarium.bg, and how you control it.
The Bulgarian version of this page is the legally authoritative one. This translation is provided for convenience.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site leaves in your browser. They usually exist so the site can remember something between two pages - that you are signed in, for instance, or what choice you made.
What we use
Strictly necessary
The public part of the site sets no cookies at all in order to work. Your consent choice is kept in the browser's local storage under the key bilkarium.consent.analytics - it stays on your device and is never sent to our server.
The admin area uses a Supabase Auth session cookie, but it only comes into existence after signing in and does not affect visitors.
Statistics - on every visit
Google Analytics 4 sets two cookies:
_ga- distinguishes one browser from another so the same visit is not counted twice. Duration: 2 years._ga_NFJQJPPRJR- keeps the state of the current session. Duration: 2 years.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited. The tag runs on every visit and does not wait for the banner. We use PostHog (PostHog Inc., EU servers) for the same purpose - statistics and session recordings; it also starts when you arrive and sets its own cookie. Both stop if you press “Decline”.
For advertising - on every visit
We load the Meta Pixel - the Facebook and Instagram counter. It shows us how many people reached the site from a post or an advert, and lets us show our events to people with similar interests. Besides the pages viewed, the pixel also records a few actions: a submitted contact form (only the kind of enquiry, not its text), a click on the phone number or e-mail, and leaving for the external ticket site. It sets the following cookies:
- _fbp - recognises your browser between visits so one person is not counted many times. Retention: 3 months.
- _fbc - remembers that you arrived through a Facebook or Instagram advert, if the address carries such a marker. Retention: 3 months.
Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. The script loads on every visit and does not wait for the banner. If you press “Decline”, we stop the pixel and delete both cookies. Meta's rules: Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Embedded Google Maps
The contacts page shows a map embedded from Google Maps. It loads together with the page rather than at your request, and in doing so Google receives your IP address and may place its own cookies on your device - including if you have no Google account.
These cookies are set by Google, not by us, and are governed by Google's own rules: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies. If you would rather they were not loaded, you can block third-party cookies in your browser.
Apart from those listed above we use no other advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not sell data to advertising networks.
How to opt out
A bar appears on your first visit telling you the trackers are running. Your choice is remembered, and the bar is not shown again.
You can opt out at any time from the “Your choice” section on this page. Opting out stops the statistics and advertising trackers and deletes the cookies already set.
Deleting cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you review and delete cookies from its settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Security”. Clearing this site's data also removes your remembered choice, so the bar will appear again.
Changes
If the set of cookies changes, we update this page. Last updated: 24 September 2026
